LEGAL BACKGROUND
John Brinkmann is an intellectual property litigation attorney and a partner of Blue Peak Law Group. John specializes in representing leading technology and semiconductor companies in complex, high-stakes cases in U.S. district courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission, and elsewhere. He has worked closely with experts and engineers on those cases to analyze his clients’ most complicated issues. In addition to patent and trade secret litigation, he specializes in pre-suit investigations, patent portfolio analysis and patent diligence matters.
John began his career in intellectual property litigation in 2002 as a technical advisor at Weil Gotshal and Fish & Richardson becoming an attorney in 2009. His experience covers a broad range of technologies, including CPU, GPU and SoC architecture, nonvolatile memories, high-performance computing, wireless communication standards, semiconductor processing, DRAM architecture and memory controllers, medical devices, and networking standards and hardware.
